She has won awards for her short film work at festivals including the London Short Film Festival, Thessaloniki International Short Film Festival and Underwire Film Festival, and in 2018 her short film YOUR MOTHER AND I was nominated for Best Short Film at the London Critics’ Circle Awards.

In January 2022, The London Short Film Festival held a retrospective of her short film and acting work.

Anna’s non-narrative film work has been shown at The Tate Modern and her photography at the TIP Institute of Photography in Tokyo as well as winning third prize at the Photo Ireland Portfolio review in 2014.

She has taught extensively at spaces including the BFI, TIFF, Birkbeck University of London, Cambridge University and LAMDA, has worked in the mental health and film sphere and provides 1-1 script development support to filmmakers.

She co-runs Stupid co with partner Kyle Greenberg where they host dog-friendly screening series Cannes Dogs, as well as being a home for their co-directed film work that currently comprises of two shorts and a no-budget found footage hybrid doc; GALICIA!
