TEACHING & 
FACILITATION

Teaching background Anna has been an Associate Lecturer in Screenwriting at the University of London, Birkbeck College, since 2020, where she teaches courses on the MA and BA programmes. She has also guest lectured at Cambridge University and LAMDA in the UK.
Mentoring and Facilitation Anna has taught and mentored young filmmakers through the BFI Film Academy, a subsidised film-training scheme for 16 to 19 year-olds, and worked as a facilitator for various BFI programmes both in the UK and abroad.
She has mentored young filmmakers and at-risk youth through BAFTA, Eastside Education, Iconic Steps and the Princes Trust in the UK and has run filmmaking workshops in the mental health realm in Toronto with TIFF, Sheena’s Place, St. Michael’s Hospital and The Regent Park Film Festival.
Anna has also worked as a filmmaking tutor with Spectrum Productions in Montreal, which supports youth on the autism spectrum getting into filmmaking and took part as a mentor in the first Stage21 acting workshops for youth with Down Syndrome in partnership with BAFTA and The Arts Council, UK in 2023.
